Twilight racks up two wins

Linglestown Twilight sandlot baseball team broke into the winning column over the weekend with a pair of victories on the road.

They downed Palmyra 3-2 on Friday. Joe Leo was the winning pitcher, and Kyle Hollingsworth was credited with the save for closing out the game in the 7th and final inning.

Twilight pitcher Jason Kelly went the distance Sunday in a 3-1 win over Penbrook.

The team’s record now stands at 2 wins and 3 losses.

Upcoming games:  Twilight is scheduled to play four home games this week at Koons Park – Steelton on Tuesday, 6 pm; Lawnton on Thursday, 6 pm; Penbrook on Saturday, 2 pm; Middletown on Sunday, 2 pm.
