* Yep, more roadwork is on the way. PennDOT will be paving Blue Ridge Avenue from N. Mountain Road to Piketown Road in the Linglestown area Aug. 23–25.

* Community group SWAN will be holding their next meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at Epiphany Lutheran Church on Colonial Road, 7 pm. The gathering will feature a presentation by a Triple Crown Corporation representative about revised development plans for Stray Winds Farms, which is a large tract located west of Colonial Road.

* Friendship Community Center (FCC) is sponsoring a yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 11, 9 am–noon. If you have stuff to sell, spaces are available for $10 for Lower Paxton Twp. residents, and only $5 for FCC members. Call 657-5635 to register.

* A charity food drive will be held Friday, Sept. 17 in the Linglestown area to benefit a couple local food pantries. Econ Wealth Management is sponsoring the event.
