Singers needed for local opera

Capitol Opera Harrisburg will hold an audition on Sunday, August 22nd, from 2–5 pm, for Walter Robin's The Breath of God, a new oratorio. Singers will be heard by appointment; please e-mail Kathleen Torchia at to schedule an audition.

Auditions will be held at: 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg, Pa. (Holy Name of Jesus Church & School). Go around the buildings to the left; auditions will be held in the trailer across from the gym.

Performances are scheduled for Saturday, May 14th, 2011, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, May 15th, 2011, at 2:00 pm. Rehearsals will be held during the week prior to the performances.

There are solos for Soprano, Mezzo, Tenor & Bass.

Chorus members need not audition, but should e-mail Kathleen at to express their interest.
