Friday's big event

Econ Wealth Management invites Gazette readers to take part in a charity food drive festival this Friday, Sept. 17, from 9 am to 4 pm.

If you stop by and bring some canned/packaged food for donation, it will benefit one of two local food banks. Also, they will have games for kids and adults, and food from some local establishments that will be served during the breakfast and lunch hours.

The festival will be held outdoors at the office complex located at 4755 Linglestown Road, which is a few doors west of Colonial Golf and Tennis Club.
