Public input needed on Linglestown parks

The Lower Paxton parks and recreation board is about to launch a planning process for future improvements at Koons Park and Wolfersberger Park, which is an undeveloped tract located east of the village along Wenrich Street.

The board has scheduled a meeting to take comments from the public tomorrow evening, Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 7 pm at the Municipal Center.

It’s likely that construction of park facilities won’t happen in the near term, but having a plan in place would help the township acquire government grants and other funding for future projects.

It would be a good idea for individuals and groups that use Koons Park to get involved in this process from the get-go.
