Street lights dot Linglestown
In case you haven't traveled through Linglestown lately, part of the village is now lined with gas lamp-style street lights that PPL recently installed. They do a good job of illuminating the street and sidewalks.
According to a letter to the editor in today's Patriot-News, the lighting is a bit too much for one village resident.
The unhappy resident should look at the lights in Annville. They are much brighter than these. Plus, with the brand new round-abouts coming in 2011, people need the light as they get used to the new traffic pattern.
