Memorial Day Parade to be held Monday

The annual Memorial Day Parade sponsored by American Legion Post 272 in Linglestown will kick off at 1 pm on Monday, May 30. The parade route is shown below. (Click on the photo to view a larger version.)

A memorial ceremony will be held at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Koons Park at the conclusion of the parade.

Cub Scout Pack 68, of Linglestown Life United Methodist Church, will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the Central Pennsylvania food bank. When you come out to enjoy the parade please consider bringing a donation to support local food banks.

This map doesn't quite show the route that I've read the parade will take. "Blue Eagle Ave. to Balthaser, then Linglestown Rd. from Balthaser to the square." That may have been last year's route, but is the one most posted for this year. Your map doesn't show the parade going up to Linglestown Rd. at all. Can someone verify the current route so we don't wait in the wrong place?
