Linglestown Gazette: Linglestown construction update

Linglestown construction update

Based on today's walk around the village, the focus of construction appears to be redoing Blue Mountain Parkway between Linglestown Road and the new bypass (pictured). This job needs to be done to match the elevation of the parkway with Linglestown Road, which was lowered by about two feet when it was rebuilt.

Next week final repaving is tentatively scheduled to start on Linglestown Road.

The entire project is on track to be completed sometime in August.

It also looks like it is being narrowed.

Yes, narrowed to basically one lane for traffic heading north on the Parkway. The plan is for one-way traffic heading north only. Vehicles coming down the Parkway won't have access to Linglestown Road at the old intersection. From what I understand, they will have access to the small parking lot behind the corner stone house.
