Linglestown fireworks show Tuesday, July 5
The popular fireworks show at Koons Park sponsored by Linglestown Fire Company and Lower Paxton Township will light up the sky Tuesday night starting at about 9:30 pm.
The show attracts a huge crowd, so arrive at 8:30 pm or earlier to get parking close to the park.
I think having the fireworks on Tuesday is a great idea. That way Linglestown is not competing with the other local fireworks, and families that go out of town for the 4th are back for the fireworks display.
I don't understand why Linglestown always pushes the fireworks to a day AFTER July 4th!! They would certainly get a large crowd ON July 4th from all the people who have picnics/parties to celebrate. Besides, it's an awesome fireworks display!! Also, it stinks if you have small children - who wants to keep their kids up on a night when you all have to get up to go to work/camp/daycare the next morning. But then again, what choice do you have because they're so loud????
I live by the park, the fireworks are LOUD, LOUD, LOUD, not to mention all the crap I have to clean up from my property the next day. Before anyone respond's that I'm whining let's have the fireworks next to your house next year.
Thanks again whoever is in charge of the fireworks. to all the parents who work nights can't take the kids to the fireworks. @ I think having the fireworks on Tuesday is a great idea- You must be the one in charge. You are the only one who thinks that. If you want to see your local fireworks don't go out of town duh. Just like the square they messed up now the fireworks. hey mabe next year we have them on say christmas to celebrate our independence. LOL
