Big poke sends Linglestown to diamond win

The Linglestown Juggernauts sandlot team (9–6–1) notched a 9–8 win Tuesday evening over Lawnton with a walk-off two-run homer by first baseman Sean Frailey at Central Dauphin High School. Frailey's 340-foot blast over the right-field fence capped a three-run last inning rally.

The game was a see-saw affair that included a Lawnton coach having to suit up to replace an injured player and a diving catch by Linglestown right fielder Tom Healy that was ESPN highlights material.

Sam Nott had another big game at the plate for the Juggernauts with a single and two hard hit doubles.

Brad Sanders was the winning pitcher in relief of starter Adam Chernicoff.

NEXT GAME AT KOONS PARK – This Saturday, July 9, 5 pm, against Hummelstown.
