Linglestown makeover project on home stretch
The smell of freshly laid asphalt is wafting into my office this morning is a sign that final paving has started on Route 39 in the village of Linglestown. The road is expected to be finished in mid-August, according to a report filed by community watchdog group SWAN.

Something has GOT to be done about the flow OR NONFLOW of traffic through both roundabouts in Linglestown. The back log of traffic during construction time is UNbelievable. Those cars that need to cross over Rt 39 from Pennsylvania Ave to get to Blue Mountain Parkway are being blocked by those SITTING in the roundabout, as well as other gridlock problems! Where are the flaggers at that location? They are definitely not at that location throughout active construction times! These are the worst delays I have experienced yet during this construction! MANY people are FURIOUS!! Whom do I write to express this concern!!
Your best bet is to call the Lower Paxton Township office at 657-5600. George Wolfe is the township manager.
