New kids sports league coming to Linglestown

Upward Sports provides a fun sports experience for kids based on healthy competition. Last year, more than 550,000, first- through sixth-grade kids had a great basketball, soccer, flag football or cheerleading experience through one of 2,400 leagues or camps.

Linglestown Life United Methodist Church has decided partner with Upward Sports to provide a flag football league for all students in the Harrisburg area. Boys and girls who will be attending first- through sixth-grade in the fall of 2010 are welcomed to register.

The league requires little commitment and has practices and games 1 day per week. If you wish to register or learn more about the league, visit the church's website, or email the league director.
