On diamond, Linglestown has so-so week

The Linglestown Juggernauts went 1–2–1 in East Shore Twilight League play last week and are in fourth place with a record of 12–8–2.

Last week showed that Linglestown is in need of a pitcher or two to improve their chances of making a deep run in the playoffs that start next week.

This week will end the regular season with a flurry of action at Koons Park. The Juggernauts will play home games on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (6 pm starts) and cap things off with a doubleheader on Saturday (2 pm and 4 pm).

Now that the season is winding down, consider coming out to support the home team. Be sure to stop by the refreshment stand and say hello – I'm the announcer and sometimes hot dog maker.
