Linglestown fireworks show Tuesday, July 3

The popular fireworks show at Koons Park sponsored by Linglestown Fire Company and Lower Paxton Township will light up the sky Tuesday night starting at about 9:30 pm.

The show attracts a huge crowd, so arrive at 8:30 pm or earlier to get parking close to the park.

Rain date is Thursday, July 5.

Is there a 4th of July parade this year in Linglestown? I haven't seen/heard anything about one but I thought there usually was one.

No parade is scheduled. You probably are thinking about the Memorial Day parade that American Legion Post 272 sponsors every year.

The Linglestown Fire Company sponsors the fireworks show with help from Lower Paxton Township.

The village is blessed to have one of the best volunteer fire companies in the Harrisburg region.

On a related note, the fire company is in need of a few new firefighters. Please contact me if you're interested and I'll hook you up with the right people.
