GIANT on Linglestown Road begins selling beer

Now you can pick up a six pack of your favorite beer at GIANT grocery store in Dauphin County. It may not sound like a new concept, but it's the first of its kind in the county.

If by country you mean Pennsylvania then that is a correct statement.

The equivalent to Giant, named Martin's, in Virginia --- has been selling alcohol for quite some time.

Glad to see that you guys have it, too.

I believe Bill said "county," not "country." Whether this arrangement is the first in Pennsylvania, I do not know. I hope this will expand to wine in the near future.

Wegman's has been selling beer for quite some time now.

As Bill said, the Route 39 / Linglestown Road Giant is the first supermarket in the county to sell beer.
