Linglestown Gazette: Linglestown gets a new bank

Linglestown gets a new bank

1st National Bank of Marysville quietly opened a branch in mid-June in the building along N. Mountain Road across from Carl’s Auto Body. The locally owned bank is over 100 years old and the Lingletown branch is the bank’s first operation on the East Shore.

The building is being renovated and a road sign will soon be installed, said branch manager and Linglestown-area resident Jessica Trullinger. A grand opening probably will take place in September after all the fix-ups have been completed, she said.

FNB of Marysville features no fee services with a big emphasis on personal service that includes plenty of face-to-face interaction with the branch manager. As an example of this, Trullinger invited me to stop by anytime for a cup of Joe.

"In additional to offering personal accounts, we provide some great services for nonprofits and small businesses," said Trullinger.
