* Here comes Santa Claus … Linglestown Fire Company will once again chauffeur jolly old Santa Claus in an antique fire engine throughout the area to deliver candy canes and oranges to children at 29 stops this Sunday, Dec. 21. CLICK HERE for more info on times and locations of Santa’s tour.


* Government watchdog … The Lower Paxton Township supervisors are expected to adopt a no-tax-hike 2009 budget Tuesday evening when they conduct their final business meeting of year at the Municipal Center, 425 Prince Street, 7:30 pm. Comcast cable customers can watch a live broadcast of the meeting on channel 20. (meeting agenda)
