Backyard news, 12.18.08

CD, CD East doubleheader Central Dauphin Rams topped Central Dauphin East Panthers in a backyard match-up of highly ranked girls’ basketball teams Wednesday night at a jam-packed East High gym.

The contest was close through the first half (Rams led 27–24 at the break), but the second half was a different story. The Panthers went stone cold midway through the third period, and the Rams, led by junior guard/forward Alyssa Thomas, easily pulled away to a convincing 62–43 victory to go 5–0 for the season. More from The Patriot-News.

In the nightcap, CD East’s boy’s team topped the Rams 73–52. For details, check out the game report from The Patriot-News.

According to their channel lineup, it does not include channel 20.

Channel 20 is owned by Comcast, so I'm not surprised they wouldn't be carrying the channel.

FiOS TV's local channels are:
2 WHP
3 WITF
4 WPMT
8 WGAL
9 PCN
10 WHTM
15 WLYH
16 ION
19 WGN America
21 My WHP
(35 CTVN - Coming soon; it's a low powered channel originating from Dillsburg - there's a Wikipedia article on it)
48 TV Guide
49 Weatherscan Local
460 NBC Weather Plus (which will become Universal Sports)
461 RTN (WHTM DT2)

Here's the link for the Wikipedia article on Channel 35:

So,they're taking 35 instead of 49 WGCB out of Red Lion.
