Golden opportunity for Linglestown groups

Linglestown-area community groups have a chance to participate in what is sure to be the biggest event to be held in the village in recent years, the 91st annual Dauphin County Volunteer Firemen’s Convention and parade on Saturday, June 13. Linglestown Fire Company is hosting the convention this year.

The parade is slated to kick off at 2 pm and will be followed by a community day event at Koons Park. There are two ways community groups can get involved:

1. Enter a float or group in the parade. CLICK HERE to register to participate in the parade. (Skip over the blanks requesting information about fire-fighting apparatus.)

2. Set up an informational display or fund-raising booth at Koons Park. Contact Chuck Hoffer via e-mail to register your group or request more info about the Koons Park activities.

Over 40 departments from throughout Dauphin County and beyond will be in the village!
