Friday, July 31 ... The summer's final TGIF Summer Concert at Brightbill Park sponsored by Lower Paxton Twp. will feature Howard and the Islanders, 7 pm. Be sure to bring a lawn chair.

Tuesday, Aug. 4 ... Lower Paxton Twp. Police Department will hold its annual "Night Out for Public Safety" at Koons Park, 6 pm to dusk.

Friday, Aug. 7 ... Family campout night at Koons Pool in Linglestown.

Saturday, Aug. 15 ... Peach festival and craft fair at New Hope Church, 1–5 pm. There will be fun stuff for kids including free pony rides (1–3 pm), a moon bounce, face painting, a dunk tank and craft tables.
