Business corridor improvements discussed

Lower Paxton Twp. officials are kicking around ideas to spruce up the Route 22 business corridor from Colonial Road to Mountain Road. The township planning commission recently met with several merchants to get their take on the proposed project, which is known in governmental circles as a Business Improvement District.

What ever happened to the Walnut St. corridor project, which was to enhance the street from Penbrook to Colonial Park? Had there been any tangible plans established, the corridor changes could be in construction now with all the stimulus money floating around now.
