Chocolate Walk starts today in Linglestown

Linglestown merchants are offering a drawing for a $375 gift basket and free chocolate treats as incentives to check out their offerings today and Saturday. Look for store fronts with red & pink balloons to identify participating stores and eateries.

Saturday kicks off with a free pancake breakfast 9–11 am at Linglestown Church of God located straight across from the Linglestown firehall, and the event wraps up with live music at St. Thomas Roasters featuring Frank and Jack Cotolo of Grantville, 8–10 pm, no cover.

Let's hope lots of people in the area make an effort to come to the Walk events. It's a great way to boost the merchants and show some support for the new Linglestown. One of the suggestions someone had for the village slogan would work for this weekend: "Come Around to Linglestown"
