CD schools … The new chief of the embattled Capital Tax Collection Bureau went before the CD school board Monday to ask them to reconsider giving the bureau the boot. Koons Pool news … Chuck Barto, the contact person for Koons Pool, has submitted a formal request to Lower Paxton Twp. for financial assistance to open the pool, according to Brian Leutchford, director of the township parks and recreation department. The supervisors have not acted on the request, he said. Leutchford did not know if the pool would be opened this season. The township does not operate the pool – it leases the facility to the pool board.
